Minnesota State University Moorhead offers affordable Swimming and Diving camps for athletes who strive to reach the next level.

Our camps focus on technique improvement and fun. Swimmers will work on all four strokes, starts, turns, race strategy, motivation, and dryland training. Divers will work on all five categories and gain experience on one and three-meter springboards along with trampoline and dryboard training.

Why are Dragon Swimming and Diving Camps special?

  • Dragon Camps run Sunday-Friday, a full extra day compared to other area camps.
  • Dragon Camps end with a meet so athletes can show off what they learned.
  • Dragon Camps focus heavily on making permanent stroke technique and skill changes to each individual.

Particular attention is paid to head position, body rotation, stroke timing and starts and turns. This year additional focus will be placed on forward and back starts and underwater dolphin kicking. Swimmers will work on turns during every practice session. Club coaches should be confident that swimmers who attend this camp will return with noticeable improvements.

Each swimming camp ends with a pentathlon style meet where every individual swims five events – 50 of each stroke and the 100 IM.

Our camps are coached by our experienced staff along with members of the Dragon Swimming and Diving team, including multiple NCAA Division II National qualifiers.
